Meet MO
Michael Ogu, MO as he is fondly called is a man of many fortes and passions–a philomath, polymath, visionary, enabler, strategist, pacesetter, trailblazer, shepherd, leader, mentor, counsellor and author.
Professionally, Michael is a Senior HR Executive, Certified Management Consultant, Corporate Trainer and Facilitator, Talent Management Thought Leader and Certified Professional Coach with over a decade multisector and multidisciplinary work experience cutting across Manufacturing, Health Services, Financial Services, Capital Markets, Transport and Logistics Sectors.
Michael is the First Nigerian and African to earn the prestigious Global Talent Management Leader (GTML) Certification from the Talent Management Institute.
An alumnus of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka and the University of Lagos, Akoka; he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Public and International Affairs.
He is also an alumnus of the prestigious FATE Foundation.
He is a member of many professional bodies both in Nigeria and abroad, some of which include the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, the Society for Human Resource Management, the Talent Management Institute, the Learning and Performance Institute, the International Association of Facilitators and the International Coaching Federation.
He is also a faculty member for academic and executive education programmes at the Lagos Business School, and is currently the Founder and Global President of the Association of Elite Human Resource Professionals (AEHRP).
Michael is the author of the book, Managing Your Talent for Value and Visibility.
He is happily married with a son and resides in Lagos, Nigeria.

Purpose and Calling
My Purpose and Calling is divided into two mandates stated below:
- “Raise a new breed of transgenerational leaders, men and women of exemplary character, whose impact and exploits will command global attention in every sphere of human influence and existence.”
- “Provide an enabling platform that will help accelerate the fulfillment of the dreams and potentials of young people on the African Continent and Beyond.”
Projects and Initiatives
- REAL Foundation: REAL is an acronym for Raising Exemplary Authentic Leaders. The REAL Foundation is dedicated to raising a new breed of leaders in line with the leadership mandate.
- Project HOPE: HOPE is an acronym for Helping Other People Excel. Project HOPE is a mentoring and capacity building platform dedicated to providing leadership, counsel and guidance to young people in line with the youth development mandate.
- GLASS Fellowship: GLASS is an acronym for Governance, Leadership, Administration, Strategy and Stewardship. It is a fellowship programmes with five (5) tracks dedicated to equipping young people with capabilities and competencies in the aforementioned areas to enable them serve humanity.
